Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund

The Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund (CINSF) supports security in retirement for Cook Islands people.  Their branding is focused on real people, their stories, and their interactions with the islands.

They were looking to redefine their brand, to bring it to life using a mix of traditional Cook Islands design elements and clear, bright images that together would convey a sense of collaboration and community.

The Artist

Because it was important for this project to convey a brand that could be trusted, and was protective of the culture, we worked with Mike Tavioni - a Cook Islands artist and writer on the logo design.

A master carver, Mike has been described as a taonga. His role in the pacific art community is recognised from New Zealand to Hawaii.

We converted the drawings into usable design and brand assets, logo building blocks and elements.

"We were referred to Sons of Serif when we were caught in a fix to complete our Annual Report in the tightest of timeframes. Ant and her team came through for us in time, with a fantastic quality design and layout that provided us with a professional delivery of our information to our members. We've stuck with them ever since."
