What is Branding?

In marketing and graphic design, 'brand' is the perception the public has of a business.

'Branding' refers to all the actions carried out to position that brand in their target market.

'Brand Identity' consists of all the visual or tangible elements that represent a business' image as it's shown to the public, with the aim of making it recognizable.

What is Graphic Design and what does it include?

What is your turnaround time?

Since every project is different, we will estimate a time during our initial consultation and let you know.  If you have an urgent job (ie: you needed it yesterday!), we can often shuffle jobs around to facilitate your deadline.

How will I receive my design project once it is finished?

A finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. At your request, we will supply the electronic files to you via email or Dropbox.

We also keep a copy of your project on file for later updates or should you lose your copy.

Who owns the artwork you create?

As soon as you've paid for it - you do!

What is the difference between vector and raster graphics?

Raster images, also known as bitmaps, are comprised of individual pixels of colour, for example, images on your websites or photos. Raster graphics always lose its quality when scaled and appear blurry.

Vector graphics are created with mathematical points, that tells the path how it is shaped and what colour it is filled by. Vector files can be stretched to any size keeping their high quality in every resolution.

Is the artwork for my logo something from Microsoft Clipart or Canva?

NO.  Everything we create for you is 100% original.

We create and draw artwork from inspiration given in our meeting and style review in professional Adobe Software. We purchase Stock Images if and when needed to incorporate in the design or brand.

Do you supply vector files for logos?

YES.  On completion of the work you will be supplied with logo files in PDF, EPS (vector), JPEG and PNG.

Our logo designs can be used on a wide range of assets - from stationery to brand marketing including business cards, letterheads, envelopes, brochure designs, websites, graphics for web sites, direct mail design, email marketing, mailing labels, presentation folders, and any other designs your business may require.

I just want a logo?

Awesome. You’ve come to the right place. We’ll have a discussion of what exactly your logo requirements are, and make sure you get exactly what you need!

What artwork files do you accept for print?

Your artwork should be a print-ready document such as .PDF, .JPG or .TIFF. We do not accept Word Document or Power Point presentation files.

You should set your artwork to print with 3mm bleed all around, fonts transformed into curves and colour profile set to CMYK. If you don't know how to do this yourself, let us know while placing the order and our design team member will help you prepare your artwork in the right way.

Do you design websites?

We choose to specialise in what we do really well, which is design and print. We have a preferred web partner at and she is amazing.
